Child Development Associate/Certified Nursing Assistant - Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Program (Full-time) 

Essential Functions Include:

  • Collaborates with other staff to foster age-appropriate self care and fine/gross motor, language/literacy, and social/emotional development.
  • Provides nursing assistance services to address clinical needs and daily care services to address basic needs.
  • Supports efforts to educate, instruct, and train parents/guardians/other caregivers (caregivers) regarding their child’s developmental needs and daily care. 

Registered Nurse - Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Program (Full-time)

Essential Functions Include: 

  • Supports the delivery of a “best nursing practice” day health care program
  • Provides nursing care and related services—using the nursing processes of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation—under the direction of the nursing director based on physician orders and a child’s protocol of care.
  • Implements and documents nursing care and related activities under the direction of the nursing director based on physician orders and a child’s protocol of care.
  • Educates, instructs, and trains parents/guardians/caregivers regarding their child’s health care.
  • Collaborates with other staff in the day health program to foster age-appropriate self care and fine/gross motor, language/literacy, and social/emotional development.
  • Supervises and provides daily care services to address basic needs, including physical handling of child for wheelchair transfers, positioning, personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and other such tasks as needed.

Adult Mentor, Adult Independence (Full-time)

Essential Functions Include:

  • This position provides and documents: Programs to support life-long learning, social interaction, purposeful activity, leisure experiences, and other daily activities that support adult learning objectives.
  • Daily care services to address basic life needs, including physical handling of adults for wheelchair transfers, positioning, personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, emergency response, and other such tasks depending on the ability of the adult.

 

Substitute Production Trainer, Workforce Success (Part-time)

Essential Functions Include: 

  • This position provides and documents: Training and sheltered work experiences to support the development of work skills, work behaviors, and personal competencies that align with adult learning objectives.
  • Daily care services to address basic life needs, including physical handling of adults for wheelchair transfers, positioning, personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, emergency response, and other such tasks.

Volunteers Needed

The Redwood Express Committee is seeking volunteers for the largest fundraising event of the year.  On Friday, March 2nd at Receptions in Erlanger volunteers are needed to support the following areas:  parking attendant, admissions, raffle sales, technical support and/or tear down crew.  For additional volunteer opportunities or to apply online, see our Volunteer Page.
