Early Intervention
Redwood offers early intervention for children with special needs under the age of three. Child and family focused services help children make substantial gains in all developmental areas, and prepare families to promote the development of their child with special needs. This program promotes early identification and intervention through evaluations, assessment, consultation, and referral services.
Developmental Intervention
Children benefit from group interaction, therapeutic play, guided social interactions, and developmental stimulation while at Redwood. Parents participate as partners with professionals to enhance their child's development as they receive center or home-based intervention.
Primary Service Coordination
This service offers family-centered advocacy and assists families in coordinating therapeutic services for children birth to 3 years of age. Service coordinators link families to needed community resources and facilitate transition into the local school districts or other options for preschool education and therapy.
