Give Back to Redwood with Booze Breakfast January 18, 2022

thumbnail

The Booze Breakfast started when three friends wanted to turn their Tuesday morning fellowship breakfast into an opportunity to learn more about Redwood, support the Redwood Express fundraiser and possibly recruit some volunteers.

What started out as three friends coordinating breakfast with the dietary staff at Redwood, soon grew into a wonderful and fun way to get more than 100 bottles of spirits donated for baskets to be auctioned off at future Redwood fundraisers.

Today, Booze Breakfast looks a little bit different. You are invited to drop off a bottle of alcohol (any kind is accepted, but we all know what Kentucky is known for), and in exchange, you will receive a voucher for breakfast at PeeWees.

You may drop off your bottles on Tuesday, January 18, starting at 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Redwood Welcome Center Lobby or PeeWees. Bottles will be accepted through the month of January at Redwood, and breakfast vouchers will be valid through January 31.

The donations will be used to create auction items for Redwood Express and other Redwood fundraising initiatives. Thank you in advance for helping Redwood continue to do amazing work for the community.

We would like to take a moment to thank PeeWees for providing breakfast for those who donate, as well as our sponsor, Jim’s Beverage.
