Early Care & Education

Children, with and without special needs, prepare for kindergarten as they actively participate in a natural flow of play, quality early learning experiences, and nurturing interactions with child development staff.  The program is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), has an excellent 3-star rating through KENTUCKY STARS FOR KIDS NOW's voluntary childcare facility rating system, and offers onsite nursing.  The use of a nationally-recognized curriculum in the nursery, toddler, and preschool classrooms fosters the development of language, social-emotional, and physical skills.

An array of services are available for children with both intellectual and physical disabilities.  Redwood's Early Child Care programs offer families an inclusive therapeutic childcare environment where children with and without special needs grow and learn.  These programs include our Nursery, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms, which utilize a national-recognized curriculum to foster the development of language, social-emotional, and physical skills.

Also available to families is Therapeutic Intervention, which offers an array of therapeutic services, including occupational, speech, and physical therapy, and early intervention.

Through this unique mix of services, children are given the opportunity to be better prepared to succeed in school and, eventually, adulthood.
