Children develop social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical skills required for kindergarten success. Child and teacher-directed learning activities, based on a nationally-recognized curriculum, promote exploratory play, peer interaction, and the development of early literacy, math, and science concepts. A certified early childhood teacher provides preschool education to children with and without disabilties enrolled in Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care and the Early Care & Education programs.
Preschool Education is offered Monday through Friday in mornings or afternoons.
