Redwood respects the privacy and confidentiality of its donors, clients, and the Redwood family. To better protect that privacy, this notice explains online information practices and the choices available about the way in which personal information is collected and used. This notice is available on Redwood’s homepage and various pages where personally identifiable information may be requested.
Section 2 – Information Collected
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on Redwood’s website. On certain pages, personal information may be provided in order to submit requests, make donations, or register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages includes:

Credit/Debit Card Information

On some pages, information about others may be submitted, such as in the case of donations made in honor or memory of other individuals. In this circumstance, the types of personal information collected are:

Section 3 – How Information Is Used
Personal information is used only to complete requested services, donations, acknowledgements, or registrations. No other uses are permissible and Redwood does not share personal information with other organizations, third-party vendors, or businesses. Email addresses are used to respond to received emails. Such addresses may be used to provide notifications about Redwood and are not shared with outside parties. Information collected online is never shared with outside parties.
Section 4 – Commitment to Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures are in place to safeguard and secure information collected online.
Section 5 – Correction Information
Factual errors in personally identifiable information can be corrected by sending a request to Redwood’s Database Specialist. To safeguard privacy and security, Redwood will take reasonable steps to verify identity before granting access or making changes.
