Adults learn work and workplace skills through individualized training and completion of subcontract work from local businesses. Wages are based on productivity and federal labor laws. Life skill training and adult enrichment programs increase knowledge, skills, and breadth of experience. Nursing care, dietary services, therapeutic methods, and assistance for personal care enhance health, wellness, and physical function.
With the help of an occupational therapist, a speech therapist, a resource librarian, and the lending library, children and adults can receive in-depth evaluations and consultative services to identify the most appropriate technology solution to increase independence.
Vocational Day Training helps adults with disabilities acquire work and life skills, to build positive social behavior, and to foster greater independence through the use of subcontract work as a training tool, and work readiness experiences that will prepare adults to pursue supported employment if they choose.

"My name is Lynsey Graham and I have been a Redwood employee since 2015. I have been blessed to work in the Life Skills program assisting clients with their daily living skills and working as a CNA, providing personal care for all of our adult clients. I now reside in Vocational Day Training where I lead an excellent group of employees and clients.
