Redwood guides children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities to achieve independence and reach their highest potential.
Many donors make large gifts to support Redwood’s enriching educational, therapeutic and vocational programs. In addition to receiving donations via check and credit card, Redwood accepts gifts in many forms such as gifts from Donor Advised Funds, Appreciated Stock and Qualified Charitable Distributions from an IRA or other retirement asset.

Redwood was founded in 1953 to provide services, solutions, and hope for all children with disabilities and is still operating today.

Carol Serrone worked in the tax world for over 25 years, which included working with more than 100 nonprofit organizations. She assisted her clients to achieve their philanthropic goals. Carol joined the Redwood Team in January 2018. The Philanthropy Team is responsible for raising money to support Redwood’s programs, help expand capacity and become more recognized throughout the region as a source of help and hope to individuals living disabilities and their families.
